Hi guys
Can anyone help with this?I’ve recently updated my VisualCompose plugin and afterthat the headers and footers on my site all lost their background colours. They show in the back end but don’t appear on the site. WordPress Premium Support said that upgrading to E-Commerce Gem Plus 2.1.0 would fix the issue (Ihave the earlier version) but whenI go to download an update it shows a price of $45. I already have Plus.
Am I going to have to pay each time there is an update to this theme? If so, how often are these updates going to happen and how can I be alerted to them?

We’re really sorry you’re facing the issue while updating but the update wouldn’t require paying for the theme again.
Once you purchase the theme, the updates are available for free for the tenure of the license.Please kindly follow the below to do a basic troubleshooting of your license:
– Checking that the proper license key is added and that the key is active
1. From your admin area visit Appearance >> Theme License
2. You should be able to see the status and expiry date of your license
3. If license key is configured properly and the license is active then you should be able to update the theme from from Appearance >> Theme
4. You will see a notification ie. ‘New version available. Update now’. Clicking on update now button will update the theme to the latest versionHope this solves your problem. If you still find issues, please let us know for further support.
