    I would like to change the color and/or styling of the navy box that the text is in on the featured slider. How would this be possible?

    Hi @shelby

    Please go to Appearance >> Customize >> Additional CSS and add following CSS to chagne background of slider caption section.

    .main-slider .slider-caption .caption-wrap {
    background: #FF9800;
    }

    Please change color code to your required color.
